The Department of Psychology offers programs leading to the B.A. and B.A. with honors in psychology.  The purpose of these programs is to provide a rigorous and effective education designed to enhance the understanding of behavior through a solid foundation in basic psychological processes as well as in methods of research.

The Department's faculty represent a broad range of expertise within the field.  As a result, the course work and research experiences available to students represent many domains of psychology including:

Training in psychology provides a strong background for a variety of career opportunities in research, college/university teaching, clinical practice, medicine, and law.  Numerous opportunities also exist in government, business, and industry.
